Episcopop at the
Farmers Market
Galloway shows up with popcorn and smiles at the Elkin Farmers Market on Saturday morning, joining a local network of farmers, vendors, master gardeners, and neighbors dedicated to cultivating a healthy and life-giving community for the region. a snack and some good conversation! 100% of donations raised go to support local nonprofits including Grace Clinic, Tri-C Ministries, and Feed the Elderly.
GMEC volunteers also facilitate activities for the kids crafts table at the Elkin Farmers Market every third Saturday of the month. If you are interested in participating in either of these opportunities, sign-up in the Parish House or contact Fr. Jonathan.
Choir
Directed by our Organist David Redden, choir members lead our parish community in worship by singing the hymns and service music of the liturgy as well as musical performances throughout the year. If you are interested in joining the choir at Galloway, contact David Redden.
Liturgical Assistants
Multiple members of our community assist in the liturgy each week, including altar guild members, altar servers, chalicists, lectors, ushers, and more. If you are interested in participating in services in one of these ways, contact Fr. Jonathan.
Creation Care
Our Creation Care Team at Galloway is exploring ways to live into our Christian vocation as stewards of God's creation both as a community and as individuals, through trail cleanup, conservation, theological reflection, gardening, and more.
